I was fortunate enough to become a long-term resident and guest of your hotel on the 27th on November 2007 and have a residency contract until 31st December 2008, at which time is my intention to renew this agreement for a further twelve months. I am currently a mature-aged Doctoral student at Victoria University in Melbourne and this study I hope to complete within three years.
Its is important for me while devoting my time and attention to acquiring knowledge that I live in an environment which is conductive to study and where I can feel safe, secure and have privacy. Since November 2007 I have had the ability to achieve this. At any time even without study load, I feel security and privacy is important. It has been a joy to be treated with the greatest of respect, care, compassion, empathy and where guests are regarded as important. Your employees have attended as soon as possible to any issues needing attention and I believe your method and style of management is exceptional with everyone taking that extra step to assist.
If anyone wished to stay at your hotel for one night or more, I would have no hesitation giving recognition of merit and can assure all prospective guests that they will receive the very best attention from the time they step into the reception area.
I would be extremely happy to allow you to make visible, exhibit or produce this accolade to anyone wishing to receive information regarding the hotel and cannot thank you enough for the activities that you and the employees of your organisation are engaged in to ensure everyone have a happy and peaceful environment in which the stay. I would be delighted if you could pass on my comments to your staff so that they feel encouraged and know that they are appreciated.

I have lived at Le Student8 since February 2007, when I moved to Melbourne from country Australia to begin my University course. Moving to Melbourne was slightly daunting for me as I did not know a lot of people and have now accumulated a good group of friends. The Le Student8 atmosphere allows people to meet a blend of students, from International students, exchange students and quite a few Australian students. It is easy to make friends, as you bump into people in the hallways, in the kitchen or simply sitting by the pool. Each month the restaurant ran a Buffet dinner for students to indulge in an all you can eat, very cheap dinner. This was a great way for students to get to know new people and to communicate with people they had not yet met. The highlight of my stay at Le Student8 would have to be the 80's night Buffet dinner, which aimed at raising money for a charity and at the same time allowed students to let their hair down and enjoy some fun away from study. I have met some life long friends during my stay here and I have had memorable nights with the great variety of students that have allowed my move to Melbourne to become much easier than what was anticipated!! |

I have been staying in Rydges on Bell for close to 8 months now. I moved here after sharing a flat with some of my friends. I find that having a place for myself allows me the privacy that I always wanted and because there are a number of other students here one doesn't feel isolated. This also eliminates any issues related to sharing of bills, housekeeping, etc. when sharing a house with other people.
It would be very difficult to meet the vast variety of people that you do get to meet here without staying in a college dorm. The vast number of nationalities and people from different backgrounds that one meets adds to a rich cultural experience.
The rooms are functional with entertainment; TV, cable and DVD, communication; telephone and internet, leisure; swimming pool and gym; available for use at virtually no extra cost. There is a community kitchen that is good for cooking food and also a place to meet new people. And, in case I don't feel like cooking the restaurant downstairs offers a wide array of dishes.
The free shuttle bus service from Rydges to Melbourne University, RMIT and LaTrobe University shave off at least $27.00 weekly from my budget so that I can spend that on other activities that I would like to do.
Lestudent8 offers a great experience at a fantastic price. |

I am a Chinese overseas student. I have stayed in Le Student 8 almost one semester since I arrived at Melbourne. I found this place is really tranquil and elegant and my room is very cosy and comfortable. In the surroundings I can find different supermarkets and various restaurants.
Le Student 8 is also close to tram which makes it easier for me to commute everyday between La Trobe University and Le Student 8. I am sure for those ones like me who come to Australia for the first time will be happy to enjoy staying in hotel while paying best price for students. I also never worry about any complicated payment or fees and only need to pay my monthly fees regularly.
In addition, I love to share kitchen and learn gourmet cooking with students from all over the world. Well, don’t miss the chance to try the delicious Australian BBQ from the kitchen in Le Student 8 as well. I would say Le Student 8 is the best choice for overseas students! |

Le student8 is a beautiful private student's accommodation place for those locking for safe, convenience and friendly studying environment. To me I have been there for almost 2 years and I found it great in terms of security and safety. In addition to the transportation services that offered to my university, it is close to other public transportation services to the city and other places. I really enjoyed my staying at Lestudent8 and it helped me a lot in my study experience. |

I lived in Le Student 8 for about 2 years and had an awesome time. During my stay, I have made tons of new friends, not only from Australia but also from around the world that would be my friends for life.
The facilities that are offered there met my needs as a student, such as the business centre for studying, the gym for the daily workout and also the recreation room for socializing. I also found that the free shuttle bus service was practical as it stopped right at the universities doorstep. Throughout my stay, there were also activities organized just for the students such as a basketball tournament and a BBQ by the poolside. It was a great way to meet new students and also to have fun. |
